WOW Factor is een eigenzinnig trio uit het Oosten van Nederland dat de grenzen opzoekt tussen genres. Krachtige, filmische popsongs met een vleugje ambient, stevige eighties-roots en een ‘elektronische’ ziel. De band omschrijft hun stijl zelf als IndiePop, een mix van dance, alternatieve en traditionele pop met een originele live performance. Invloeden komen van bands als Coldplay, Keane, Moby, Faithless en New Order.
Ze spelen vooral eigen composities, authentieke verhalen, soms rauw realistisch, vaak dromerig of futuristisch, maar altijd doordrenkt in de typische WOW melancholie. Muziek die ontroert, schuurt, verbindt en verbeeldt — kritisch, poëtisch, meeslepend én verrassend… WOW Factor, muziek die blijft hangen! Live krijgt WOW Factor regelmatig gezelschap van bijzondere gastartiesten zoals Gwen Lemmens (vocals / rap), Danny Koning (bas, gitaar, vocals) en Armanda ten Brink (Sopraan). Deze samenwerkingen voegen nog meer gelaagdheid toe aan hun toch al dynamische optredens.

WOW Factor is an idiosyncratic trio from the East part of the Netherlands that explores and blurs the boundaries between various genres. Their sound features powerful, cinematic pop songs with a touch of ambient, deep eighties roots and an ‘electronic’ soul. The band describes their style as IndiePop — a fusion of dance, alternative and traditional instruments, delivered in a truly original live performance. Influences range from Coldplay and Keane to Moby, Faithless and New Order.
They focus on original compositions: authentic stories that are sometimes raw and realistic, often dreamy or futuristic, but always soaked in their signature WOW melancholy. This is music that moves, provokes, connects and inspires — critical, poetic, immersive and always surprising. WOW Factor creates music that lingers long after the last notes fade…
WOW Factor is joined tonight by special guests Gwen Lemmens (vocals/rap) and Danny Koning (bass, guitar, vocals), adding even more depth and richness to their already dynamic performances.
